SIGIL
Six synthesis engines, in a browser tab.

Hear it first — FM, Hour Bell
Rendered straight out of the instrument. Every clip on this page is, and every one is a preset you can open and take apart.
Six engines, six demos
- ANALOGBedrock
Subtractive, with a four-pole ladder filter that self-oscillates.
- FMTine Letter
Four operators across the classic algorithms. Bells, electric pianos, metal.
- PHYSICALGamelan Court
Modelled resonators, struck or bowed. Wood, metal, glass and skin.
- GRANULARVapor Column
Audio cut into grains and rebuilt as clouds and drones.
- WAVETABLEGlass Organ
Scanning banks of waveforms, so the timbre moves as it sounds.
- SAMPLER
Your own recordings, through the same filters and envelopes.
No demo — it plays whatever you load into it.

- Every parameter carries a plain description of what it does.
- Bounce any sound to a WAV, or record a take as you play it.
- Runs in the browser on a laptop, tablet or phone. MIDI controllers work.
In your DAW
The same six engines as a VST3 plugin: automatable from the timeline, saved with the project, rendered with the mix. Sounds designed in the browser open in the plugin unchanged.
macOS, VST3, Apple Silicon. Windows and Audio Units are on the way. The browser version stays free and complete either way.
